Founder's Vision
My journey with wine and arak began long before Château Cadmus was created. Growing up surrounded by the culture of Lebanese hospitality, I developed a deep respect for the traditions of winemaking and distillation that have existed in our land for centuries.
Over the years, I immersed myself in understanding every step of the craft — from grapes and fermentation to distillation and blending. What started as curiosity became a passion, and that passion eventually became a vision.
Château Cadmus was born from a desire to reconnect with our roots and share the authentic spirit of Lebanon with the world. Inspired by the legendary Phoenician Cadmus, who carried knowledge across the Mediterranean, our mission is to carry another gift of our land — transforming Lebanese grapes into wines and arak that reflect our heritage.
For me, Château Cadmus is not only a winery and distillery.
It is a personal journey — one that honors tradition while building a future for Lebanese wine and arak.

From the ancient city of Tyre, where the Phoenicians first mastered the art of winemaking and distillation, to the fertile valleys of Lebanon where our vineyards flourish today, Chateau Cadmus carries forward a timeless legacy.
Our name is inspired by Cadmus, the Phoenician prince of Tyre, who spread culture, knowledge, and the alphabet across the Mediterranean. Just as he carried the gift of language, we carry the gift of our land — transforming grapes into wine and distilling them into the spirit of Lebanon: Arak.
At Chateau Cadmus, heritage meets craftsmanship. We respect the traditions passed down through generations:
Hand-harvested grapes nurtured by Lebanon’s unique terroir.

Grapes & Terroir: Made from premium grapes grown in Lebanon’s fertile vineyards, carefully harvested to ensure optimal quality.
Distillation & Craftsmanship: Distilled in traditional copper stills with slow, precise methods that create a smooth and aromatic spirit.
Tasting Notes: Crystal-clear with a distinct aniseed aroma, developing a delicate louche (milky transformation) when mixed with water. Smooth, rich, and balanced on the palate.
